To support refugee and displaced women, girls and their families with medical care, service points and emergency shelters, as well as in coping with traumatic experiences of violence, funding is provided to the United Nations Population Fund (15,000,000 euros), the International Planned Parenthood Federation (5,000,000 euros) and UN Women (6,000,000 euros).

To this end, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development is working with Ukrainian authorities, service providers and also banks through the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH, the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau and the United Nations Development Programme so that they can continue to support businesses in agriculture and other sectors, assess damage and prepare studies for reconstruction.
