Federal Ministry of Education and Research €500,000 Germany The Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Science Association has set up a matching fund from the Strategy Fund to support Ukrainian scientists, for example in the form of travel expenses or costs for the extension of employment contracts or scholarships for persons employed at Leibniz institutions.
Federal Ministry of Education and Research €400,000 Germany Start of a German-Ukrainian joint research project on hydrogen technologies and approval of another in 2023.
Federal Ministry of Education and Research €400,000 Germany The temporary creation of a special programme for Ukraine by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft is aimed at researchers at research institutions in Ukraine in DFG-funded cooperation projects.

Around €400,000 has been approved so far for the Ukrainian part of the project and to finance the living expenses of the Ukrainian cooperation partners.
